April Fools day is one in which begs us to play pranks and typically fool our unsuspecting friends and acquaintances. So for all you pranksters who love a good laugh and find this day of the year hard to miss, why not celebrate with an April fools party?
This will not be an ordinary kind of party so for your party guests, be aware that not everyone will fit the personality required for those wacky April fools tricks. Invite only those who will be sure to find the pranks a laugh and enjoy perhaps playing them on others. Of course no one should be hurt, hair, clothes and your guests mood should not be damaged and also your own property, as theres no need for things to get out of hand.
Aprils fools party invitations can be in any design you wish. A fun idea could be to hand deliver the invitations with a gift wrapped box of fake rubber sweets, or one in which something pops out when opened. You could also write the invitation into a limerick or funny poem or turn it into an e-card with funny pictures or videos.
The party decoration ideas are endless and with a bit of effort you could make the venue of your party look brilliant. When decorating with your party supplies, think comedy. You could have pictures of famous comedians or clown masks up against the wall, happy face balloons and whoopee cushions scattered around tables and fake fruit, cakes etc filling the buffet tables.
When it comes to pulling the pranks on your party guests make sure everything is more likely to create fits of giggles rather than an upset guest. Fake food is always a winner so when your guests walk through the door they are tricked into seeing a delici ous feast when really everything is made of rubber and plastic.
Another is to place whoopee cushions inside seat covers or under seats, replace car keys with ones which are of a similar design or put a fake car scratch or false stain or one of their much loved possessions.
Games at these types of parties can be fun for people of all ages and a good idea is to provide guests with a character on a piece of paper as they walk in and for the next half an hour they have to act like the person or object they were given. Easy things like Monkey (for the little ones) Charlie Chaplin (for older guests) and A seat (for flexible and younger guests) always encourage a good laugh.
Have a side-splitting time at your April Fools Party!
